We just finished whipping out shirts for The Dogwood, a restaurant located in our neck of the woods, Hampden! The Dogwood specializes in sustainable American cuisine.  The shirts are the new uniform of the servers and bussers, and are also on sale for ONLY $20.  We dropped them off yesterday and already a bunch have sold.  Stop in ASAP to grab a bite to eat and a shirt.

Spring has sprung and with summer on the horizon, that means that there are a million and one craft fairs and perfect chances for you to load up on your Natty Paint.

On May 23rd (this Sunday!) there’s the Handmade Mart in Silver Spring from 10am to 5pm. Then next Sunday, May 30th, you can find us at Sowebofest which will be surrounding Hollins Market in Southwest Baltimore. We will be there from noon until 9pm.

Skipping into June there is the Charles Village Fest on June 5th and 6th. It’ll be in Wyman Park Dell which is right at the corner of Charles Street and 29th Street. The next weekend, June 12 and 13th, we will be stationed in Hampden for the fabulous Honfest.

We expect to see you soon, hon!

Natty Paint Commissions!

There are a lot of commissions in the works right now. The first is a design for the Bikram Yoga Studio in Hampden, for their 30 and 60 days challenge. Bikram himself says 30 days of Bikram Yoga brings you a new body, new mind, and new life. I am partaking in the 30 day challenge myself. Today is day 8 for me. Here are some pics of the BYH shirt design:

I’m meeting with Sarah, the owner of BYH today to discuss shirt colors so printing can get underway.

Another commission I am working on is a design for Greater Homewood Community Corporation. This year marks the organization’s 40th birthday, and what a better way to celebrate than with t-shirts! I was invited to attend the GHCC’s 40th Birthday Celebration at the North Avenue Market Saturday night for inspiration, which featured stilt walkers, knomes, performances by Single Carrot Theatre, and fabulous cupcakes. I am working on the design for GHCC this week.
