Gutter magazine’s own fashion editor Abdu Ali is creating his own blog- EatonThis.com to explore Baltimore’s grittier, edgy fashion, art, and music scene. In celebration, his launch party- “Faded Celebrity” will take place this Sunday, February 21, starting at 7 pm, at Sub-Basement studios. The event itself is sponsored by Gutter Magazine (sound familiar? Gutter’s own photographer J.M Giordano shot our spring Look Book,) Rendezvous Productions and Arizza Imaging. Major fashion icons such as M.I.A, Edie Sedgwick, and Grace Jones will provide the inspiration for the party’s live Model Installations. These fashions will be on display and smattered throughout the party. Art installations by Jeffrey Kent, Moe Bradford, Leamon Harris,Matthew Muirhead, & Nick Alexander Smith-Rengarts will accompany the fashion installations. This will be a fashion-arts-forward event you don’t want to miss!

If you haven’t yet perused the trendy, low-key, eco-friendly Diece Boutique in Fed Hill, then a field-trip surely awaits. Not only does Diece support local-artists and promote sustainable clothing, it sells Natty Paint’s “crazed and dazed” images.

A winning combination? We think so. As if you needed any reassurance, click here to read Gutter Magazine’s blog on Natty Paint for Diece. And to view the lovely vintage line just look below…
